Its only real drawback is the fact that it doesn't provide the same level of customisation as some of the other bean to cups we've evaluated. Its pump has 15 bars instead of the standard 19 bars. This isn't as good for producing high-quality espressos. This is a great machine for those who like their coffee dark and strong. The Barista TS Smart is a superb bean-to-cup machine with numerous features that make it stand above the rest. Its most unique feature may be the fact that it is able to be controlled via your smartphone using the Melitta Connect App. This lets you alter settings and even dispense various coffee recipes that are stored within the machine itself.
